This piece is left with a natural split face, the marble's raw, quarry-cut texture set directly against its polished bowl. It is the most hand-worked piece in the collection: split by hand the way the old stonemasons worked, with every finishing pass done entirely by hand, so no two are ever alike.

THE CRAFT

The stone is split by hand, the way the old stonemasons worked, and every finishing pass is done entirely by hand, so the rugged split faces meet a smooth polished hollow with no two pieces ever alike.
