Each piece is first carved in bas-relief from solid Calacatta Oro marble and then meticulously hand-painted by master Italian artisans, so the streets, façades and colours of Havana come to life against the stone. No two pieces are identical. This is the humidor from the La Casona set, offered here as a stand-alone piece.

THE CRAFT

The humidor is a chest-format piece in Calacatta Oro marble paired with white ebony, lined in premium Okoumé for aroma and protection, with an integrated Boveda system for maintenance-free two-way humidity control — no water to fill; the packs are replaced when they stiffen, typically every two to four months. It holds roughly 100 cigars stacked in layers, depending on ring gauge. The hinged lid closes onto a sealed seat, and the cigars are laid in stacked layers, which is why a box of this footprint holds considerably more than a single-row drawer.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Size: 50 × 28 × 14 cm • Weight: approx. 8 kg net • Material: solid Calacatta Oro marble, bas-relief carved and hand-painted, paired with white ebony; Okoumé interior • Capacity: approx. 100 cigars stacked in layers • Humidification: integrated Boveda system • Made in Italy, 100% handcrafted • Made to order: allow 4–6 weeks from the atelier plus transit to Canada • Availability as a stand-alone piece confirmed with the atelier at order

WHO THIS IS FOR

• The collector of Cuban cigars who wants the humidor to match the origin • A sculptural centrepiece for a lounge or study • Someone who already owns the La Casona lighter or ashtray • A milestone gift

CARE

Wipe the marble and the painted surface with a soft, barely damp cloth only — acidic, abrasive or limescale products damage polished stone and hand-painted relief permanently.
