Johnstons of Elgin has made cloth beside the River Lossie in Elgin since 1797, and is one of the few houses that still takes fibre from raw material to finished piece in its own Scottish mills. It holds Royal Warrants to His Majesty The King and to Her Majesty The Queen.

THE DESIGN
A delicate pointelle knit — small open eyelets worked through the cashmere — that is light, breathable and gentle on a baby’s skin.

THE CRAFT
Hand dyed, hand knitted and hand finished in the Johnstons of Elgin Scottish mill. Because each blanket is made by hand rather than mass-produced, expect slight differences in shade from piece to piece.
