Every Geoffrey Parker piece is hand made to order in the company's Essex workshops. Lead time is approximately 8–12 weeks for production, plus about 1 week for shipping to Canada; waiting times lengthen before Christmas. Larger orders may arrive in more than one shipment.
THE DESIGN
Conceived in 1961 and finally possible with today's printing technology: a serious player's hard-sided roll-up board that sets up in seconds and plays no differently to a proper attaché-cased backgammon. It fits neatly into a felt drawstring bag and stows in any luggage.
THE CRAFT
Two sizes: a handy handkerchief board (275 mm / 10.8") with 18 mm checkers, or the café-table size (535 mm / 21") with 38 mm stones. Acrylic stones glide over a beautifully printed leather field.
THE COLLECTION
Available as: Handkerchief – 275 mm, 18 mm stones; Café table – 535 mm, 38 mm stones. Every piece is made to your specification from Geoffrey Parker's palette of 13 Dauphin leather colours (over 22,500 possible combinations of case, field and points). We will confirm your colour choices with you after your order is placed. Initials are embossed free of charge in gold or silver; additional embossings, company logos and custom designs are available at a small extra cost.
