S.T. Dupont celebrates the ancestral Japanese art of Maki-e. Hand-decorated by the maison’s partner artisans of Wajimaya Zenni in Japan, each piece is adorned with gold powder, palladium and mother-of-pearl over rich lacquer — and signed “Zenni.” Weeks of work; no two identical.

The Ryusui Shunju collection celebrates the harmony of the cycle of nature — water flowing through the four seasons, cherry blossoms and maple leaves drifting on the current. A meditation on impermanence, carried in the pocket.
