Geoffrey Parker: An English Workshop Since 1958

Geoffrey Parker founded his company in 1958, in a village in the English countryside. The first pieces were miniature leather-bound books; the first boards followed in 1961, and by the early seventies the workshop was the name in luxury games. When Spassky met Fischer in Reykjavik in 1972, the boards on the table came from this workshop. Today it is run by Elliot Parker, the founder’s grandson, and supplied in Canada by El Laguito Cigars.
