For classic elegance and collectors

• S.T. Dupont Ligne 2:

• Pros: Iconic, distinctive "cling" sound when opened is a hallmark for connoisseurs. Offers a classic dual soft flame. Available in many finishes, from palladium to gold and natural lacquer. 

• Cons: Not windproof due to the soft flame. 

• S.T. Dupont Le Grand:

• Pros: Can produce a dual soft flame and a single jet torch flame by adjusting the ignition. More contemporary and often features intricate guilloché work. 

• Cons: The "ping" sound might not be as distinct as the Ligne 2, depending on the model. 

For outdoor use and wind resistance

• S.T. Dupont MaxiJet:

• Pros: Features a powerful single torch flame that is highly wind-resistant. Designed for more robust, outdoor use.

• Cons: Lacks the iconic "cling" sound of the Ligne 2.

• S.T. Dupont Megajet:

• Cons: Lacks the signature "cling" sound and high-end finishes of the Ligne 2.
