MANOPOULOS - ARCHERS METAL CHESS SET IN WOODEN CASE WITH STORAGE

HANDCRAFTED IN GREECE
Manopoulos has made games in Greece since 1970 — from Costas Manopoulos’s first bronze chess pieces to today’s workshop in Thebes, where every board is still cut, veneered and finished by hand. This piece comes to Canada exclusively through El Laguito Cigars.

SHIPS FROM CANADA — NO DUTIES, NO SURPRISES
Dispatched by El Laguito Cigars from Mississauga, Ontario, and priced in Canadian dollars. We import directly from the Manopoulos workshop, so there are no duties, brokerage or customs fees at your door. Each piece is made to order in Thebes: please allow approximately 25 days for production, plus 7–10 days for delivery within Canada.

THE DESIGN
Archers as pawns — the hunters and defenders of the fortress walls, under the protection of the twin archer gods Apollo and Artemis — led by a commanding king and queen. The set is housed in a wooden case with built-in storage, with a patinated bronze playing surface in the colour of your choice.

THE CRAFT
The chessmen are cast and finished by hand in Greece and gold- and silver-finished; the wooden case is made in the Manopoulos workshop with fitted storage that keeps every piece in place.

IN THE BOX
Wooden case with chessboard and built-in storage, and 32 metal chessmen.
