THE FRAGRANCE

Inspired by the deep floral scent of Moroccan rose fields, A Rose For... is contemporary and dark, with a confident intensity. It places the rose among notes of spice, orris and woods and takes the wearer on an altogether different journey of romance. The fragrance’s main character is carried in the heart, where red rose is delicately wrapped in incense, oud and orris, while warm woody notes of patchouli, sandalwood and amber in the base give it strength, refinement and depth.

Floris has traded from 89 Jermyn Street, in London’s St James’s, since 1730, when Juan Famenias Floris and his wife Elizabeth opened their shop. Every Floris fragrance is still created in the perfumery at the back of that shop, and the house has held Royal Warrants since 1820.
