Table Lighter - Black Lacquer

THE DESIGN

Finished in black Chinese lacquer, the Table Lighter makes a quiet, confident statement.

THE CRAFT

Layer upon layer of black Chinese lacquer is applied by hand to a brass base and polished between coats — the Chinese-lacquer technique S.T. Dupont has perfected over decades. The result is a deep, glass-like surface that lasts a lifetime.

THE LINE

Table Lighter — a tabletop centrepiece for the desk, study or lounge. Refillable for life and serviced rather than discarded.

THE RITUAL

An instrument for a ritual: weighty, precise, and made to be reached for again and again.
