HANDCRAFTED IN GREECE
Manopoulos has made games in Greece since 1970 — from Costas Manopoulos’s first bronze chess pieces to today’s workshop in Thebes, where every board is still cut, veneered and finished by hand. This piece comes to Canada exclusively through El Laguito Cigars.

THE DESIGN
A 60 × 60 cm statement tray built around a cross-section of walnut trunk, its natural edge and grain preserved under lacquer. Use it flat, or on the optional metal base as a side table.

THE CRAFT
Cut from walnut trunk, dried, sealed and finished by hand in Thebes. Each piece follows the tree, so size and figure vary slightly.
