Ancient, intelligent and graceful, sea turtles have roamed the oceans for millennia, outlasting even the dinosaurs, and play a vital role in keeping the world’s seas healthy. The Sea Turtle Collection honours these gentle giants and was conceived as a saltwater companion to the Koi Collection of 2017.
Three majestic sea turtles glide through a coral reef, surrounded by ocean currents, schools of fish, coral and angelfish rendered in high and low relief. A tortoise-shell gripping section is paired with a coral clip. The Japanese character for Turtle appears in high relief atop the cap, the character for Sea sits at the base, and, in keeping with the Koi Collection, David Oscarson is engraved in Japanese script on the cap ring.
The design is brought to life through the house’s signature pairing of guilloché engraving and enamel.
