Every Geoffrey Parker piece is hand made to order in the company's Essex workshops. Lead time is approximately 8–12 weeks for production, plus about 1 week for shipping to Canada; waiting times lengthen before Christmas. Larger orders may arrive in more than one shipment.
THE DESIGN
There is no better playing set than the fabled Staunton design, originated by Howard Staunton in 1849 and updated in 1861 — designed by a champion and de rigueur for championship play ever since.
THE CRAFT
The Club set is triple weighted in boxwood and supplied with extra Queens.
THE COLLECTION
Available as: 2.5" King – 37 mm squares; 3.75" King – 57 mm squares. Every piece is made to your specification from Geoffrey Parker's palette of 13 Dauphin leather colours (over 22,500 possible combinations of case, field and points). We will confirm your colour choices with you after your order is placed. Initials are embossed free of charge in gold or silver; additional embossings, company logos and custom designs are available at a small extra cost.
