Davidoff - Ambassador Humidor Olive Wood

1 ITEM LEFT IN STOCK

THE DESIGN

Olive wood is hard, strong and long-lived, pale in colour and veined with oil-like figuring — no two pieces are ever alike. Olive trees stand for centuries; when they finally stop bearing fruit, their trunks and limbs have grown thick, gnarled and twisted, and it is this old wood that yields the most beautiful pieces. A silk-matte finish preserves the authenticity of the timber and makes the Ambassador a truly decorative piece in any room.

THE CRAFT

Handmade in France. The interior is aniegre — a finely pored wood prized for its warm, light golden-brown to faintly rosy tones and silky lustre. Aniegre is odour-neutral, so nothing transfers to the cigars at rest. It is lacquered by hand to seal in humidity, yet still acts as a moisture reservoir once the humidor is in service. A removable tray with two handles sits above the lower compartment for easy access to the collection.

THE RITUAL

Supplied with one Davidoff Slim Regulator, calibrated to hold 70–72% relative humidity — the range in which premium cigars rest, age and reveal their character. Season the humidor, place the regulator, and let the Ambassador do the rest.
