MANOPOULOS - HANDCRAFTED BRASS CHESSBOARD

HANDCRAFTED IN GREECE
Manopoulos has made games in Greece since 1970 — from Costas Manopoulos’s first bronze chess pieces to today’s workshop in Thebes, where every board is still cut, veneered and finished by hand. This piece comes to Canada exclusively through El Laguito Cigars.

SHIPS FROM CANADA — NO DUTIES, NO SURPRISES
Dispatched by El Laguito Cigars from Mississauga, Ontario, and priced in Canadian dollars. We import directly from the Manopoulos workshop, so there are no duties, brokerage or customs fees at your door. Each piece is made to order in Thebes: please allow approximately 25 days for production, plus 7–10 days for delivery within Canada.

THE DESIGN
A chessboard made in brass and patinated by hand, in four sizes from 28 to 54 cm, to pair with Manopoulos metal chessmen or any set you already own. The 28 cm board is also made with a Greek meander border.

THE CRAFT
Made and patinated by hand in Greece; the polished brass is coloured with a hand-applied patina that brings out the depth of the metal.

IN THE BOX
One brass chessboard. Chessmen not included.
