THE CABINET

A solid wood desktop humidor built in Italy by the Bilbao house of Jemar. AFR/04, AFR/06 and AFR/07 measure 28 x 22 x 10 cm and hold 70 cigars; AFR/08 in zebrano is a larger body, 31 x 24 x 9.5 cm, holding 100 cigars. Jemar builds these as furniture — handmade, with the sides assembled without glue, German stainless-steel hinges, and a close-fitting lid.

THE CLIMATE

Lined throughout in solid, unvarnished Lebanese cedar, trays and dividers included — the wood that holds humidity steady and keeps tobacco beetles out. Supplied with a hygrometer, a gel humidifier that holds about 70% RH, and a separator. Season it before first use and hold it at 69–72% RH.

THE COLLECTION

4 finishes: AFR/04, AFR/06, AFR/07 (28 x 22 x 10 cm, 70 cigars) and AFR/08 Zebrano (31 x 24 x 9.5 cm, 100 cigars).
