THE SCIENCE

Two-way humidity control. Boveda adds moisture when the air drops below 69% RH and absorbs it when the air climbs above, holding the container to within ±2% of that level. Food-grade salt, purified water and a food-grade thickening agent — no sponges, no gels, and no way to over-humidify.

THE SETUP

Drop the pack in and close the lid. Safe to touch cigars directly. Do not run Boveda alongside a sponge, gel or bead humidifier — competing systems work against each other and shorten the pack's life. Replace roughly every three months, or when the pack turns rigid.
