THE FORMULA

A finely milled shaving soap refill to accompany the Floris shaving soap bowl. Floris’s bestselling triple-milled shaving soap is formulated with shea butter to create a rich, creamy lather for a smooth shave and an expert finish, with a blend of oils that encourages the blade to glide, minimising the chance of nicks and cuts.

THE SCENT

No.89 takes its classical cologne character from orange and bergamot blended with lavender and neroli. A touch of spicy nutmeg warms the floral heart, which rests on a dominant woody accord of sandalwood, cedarwood and vetiver: a quintessentially English gentleman’s fragrance. Named for 89 Jermyn Street, No.89 was the signature scent of Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond. In Skyfall (2012), Miss Moneypenny shaves Daniel Craig’s James Bond with the Floris No.89 Shaving Soap & Bowl, a key scene that gave the bowl further iconic status.
