THE CABINET

A solid wood desktop humidor built in Italy by the Bilbao house of Jemar, measuring 31 x 24 x 9.5 cm and holding ~100 cigars. Jemar builds these as furniture — handmade, with the sides assembled without glue, German stainless-steel hinges and lock, and a close-fitting lid.

THE CLIMATE

Lined throughout in solid, unvarnished Lebanese cedar, trays and dividers included — the wood that holds humidity steady and keeps tobacco beetles out. Supplied with a hygrometer, a gel humidifier that holds about 70% RH, a separator, and a key. Season it before first use and hold it at 69–72% RH.

THE COLLECTION

Three veneers on this body: MED D1/8 Root, MED D1/9 Macassar ebony and MED D1/10 Ebony.
