Each piece depicts God descending from the heavens, breaking through the clouds in full glory as heavenly hosts praise His name, His sceptre set with a diamond. Below, the adversary appears as a serpent with ruby eyes above a repeating flame pattern beneath mossy-black enamel, while opaque black enamel at the base represents the absence of all light. The gripping section is divided into two halves, representing spirit prison and spirit paradise.
Hand-crafted in solid sterling silver, the collection pairs centuries-old guilloché engraving with translucent hard enamel, applied by quill, fired at over 1,000°F and hand-filed with a diamond file through repeated firings until the pattern is fully filled, then polished to a velvet finish.
The Collection — The 37th in the David Oscarson series of Limited Edition writing instruments. Offered as fountain pen or roller ball in five colour variations, each limited to an aggregate production of 88 pieces.
