The Winter collection captures the quiet beauty of the coldest season in ice, frost and light. An early milestone for the house, it continues David Oscarson's devotion to artistic mastery and the tradition of Old World craftsmanship.
It was the first David Oscarson collection to incorporate three levels of guilloché on each piece: an ice pattern in high relief, a pinstriped background, and a third dimension of frost that interrupts it. Translucent enamels in winter blue, grey or white, or opaque black with translucent white, are accented with rich opalescent white hard enamel.
Hand-crafted from 18-karat gold and .925 sterling silver, each piece is finished in rhodium vermeil, its hard enamel built up through repeated kiln firings and hand-filing. The fountain pen features an 18-karat gold nib engineered in Heidelberg, Germany, rhodium-plated and iridium-tipped, with an ebonite feeder.
